1.2 Activty 9 Finding reliable, valid information

How can we asses that infromation found on the internet is probably real? What signs should make us distrust a site?

We asses the information on the sites by evaluating certian features:

• We look at the URL to see if it is coming from a site we trust etc .org, .com, .co.uk
• We also look at the reference in the article to see if we trust there sources.
• We also use our common knowledge to evaluate the websites and see if we see recongise any part of the story and read more, we usually check other sources to see if that infromation is reliable.
• We can also look at the quality of the picture and can tell if it has been edited by photoshop.
