• What is the advantage of paying a supplier such as apple for legal music:
  You know that you wont be causing a risk of getting a virus, illegal downloading can be slower than legal due to you are downloading straight from the apple website, you can also preview the music. The music is also of a better quality with apple.
• Disadvantage of buying a pirate DVD from a market stall:
  You can't be sure of the quality. You will not have any luck trying to return the product as you are not legally covered in anyway.
• What is the disadvantage of getting a pirate download of the lastest Hollywood blockbuster before it's release in the UK release?:
  The disadvantage is the sound quality, there will not be bonus features that you get on DVD's. You will also notice that the quality of the picture is not as good as if you bought it when it comes out in the UK, you will also have no grounds to stand if somethig with the DVD is wrong.
• What is the disadvantage of you visiting an illict music download site?
  The disadvantage is that you can be tracked and you could also download a virus that is attached to the song that could break your computer.
• Does widespread illict downloading discourage the funding of new talent:

  If music sales continue to drop because people are illegally swapping music on the Internet or copying their friends' CDs, then some of these people that work in the music industry might lose their jobs, and lose the ability to create cool new music for us! That could have a big impact on their ability to raise families, and on the economy as a whole. With less money to spend, they will buy fewer clothes and computers, take fewer vacations, etc. So illegally downloading a song or copying a friend's CD might just seem like free music to you and me - but it's costing someone else real money and having a real impact on the role music will be able (or unable) to play in our lives!
  It will also discourage them to go in to the industry if they can't make a livelihood from there music.
